The organi/ation is located at 01 2ady Musgra'e Road- 3ingston 4ut other 4ranches are located island ,ide such as in Montego 5ay6almouth- 7chio Rios- 8ortland and also Manch ester. 9t ,as esta4lished in $1; and is o,ned and o+erated 4y an association of mem4er organi/ations. The Mission Statement of J&T( is < Everything Transportation,= this means that they +ro'ide all ty+es of trans+ortation. J&T( aims to +ro'ide e!cellent trans+ortation ser'ices island ,ide. The +hysical en'ironment of the 4usiness coe!ists +ositi'ely ,ithin the en'ironment and does not necessarily degrade the air,ater systems or other natural systems. The 3ingston 4ranch of the 4usiness currently em+loys 1 staff mem4ers ,hich includes $ secretary- $ treasurer- $ secretary- $ com+any secretary- ; accountants and ; +ersons in the sales de+artment. The 4usiness offers a range of trans+ort to clients to tae them around the island. The clients ,ho mainly u tili/e the ser'ices are 4oth local and internationals seeing trans+ort from +lace to +lace. Clients ,ho use J&T( ser'ices include organi/ations and com+anies- churches and also schools for tri+s. The organi/ation assists the mem4ers of the community 4y +ro'iding >o4s for them. The organi/ation em+loys 4oth locals and international +eo+le to ,or ,ith them- international +eo+le are hired mainly 4ecause of the language 4arrier ,hich may arise ,hen dealing ,ith international clients. These +ro4lems included the fact that the researcher did not get to 'isit the site on the set date as a result of the e!aminations ,hich too +lace in January. Not only does J&T( 4enefit communities 4y +ro'iding em+loyment for the mem4ers- 4ut also- im+acts socially and en'ironmentally. Social im+acts are created 4y J&T( in the form of s+onsorshi+s and gi'ing 4ac to communities and its +eo+le. Recently J&T( s+onsored a ,edding free of cost and 4eing the official trans+ort for that ,edding. They also s+onsor schools and +ro'ide official trans+ort for their field tri+s. J&T( has 4een hel+ingchildren in a ma>or ,ay 4y +utting on school id’s +romotions ,hen it is 4ac to school time ,here they gi'e children free school items. (s it relates to the en'ironmental im+acts- J&T( uses the recommended oil to fuel all 'ehicles- diesel- ,hich is said to 4e 4etter for the en'ironment. (lso- in order to ee+ +eo+le from littering the en'ironment- signs are +laced on 4uses and other 'ehicles instructing +eo+le of ho, to +ro+erly dis+ose of their gar4age.
