Scope of Work Physical Audit and Database Physical Audit is a necessary part of Radio Audit to get a clear view of what is installed in the field and what physical parameters are there. Each of the Riggers is assigned to collect all the necessary information contained in Form-A (defned below). This information is to be submitted to the RF Consultant after the end of each activity day so that he (Consultant) can develop an accurate database for the network.
Benchmarking Drive Test Benchmarking is another important activity to analyze the network situation among the competitors. Each of the Drive test team has to make the drive on the defned drive routes including all the major highways, cities, towns and villages to have an idea about the coverage foot print and quality of service for each of the operator. Drive Test Mode will consist of (not limited to); Idle Mode Short Call Mode
Long Call Mode Drive Test mode selection/criteria will be defned by the RF Consultant according to the profle of the drive region/area. At the end of each drive the Drive Test Engineer is supposed to provide the coverage
plots, quality plots and event plots for the drive (plus any extra plot required) to the RF Consultant in the defned format(jpg, ppt …etc)as per his requirement.

Benchmarking report This report consist of plots of the different operators. It contains, Coverage Plots-Idle Mode(Rx_Lev Full dBm) Coverage Plot-Dedicated Mode(Rx_Lev Sub dBm) Quality PlotDedicated Mode(Rx_Qual Sub) Events Plot- Dedicated Mode(Call Drop/HO Failure/Blocked Calls) Best Server Plot Network Design Report Network Design report will come after the database collection is fnished and one can have a clear view of the network physical design. It will be a snap shot of the network current design review and recommendations from Consultant about the current design and changes. Network Congestion Report Network Congestion report will be made by consultant after getting the stats of trafic and resources in the last 30days (depends on the data storage of stats in iManager2000) and get the congestion status on each of the cell and recommendations about the expansion of TRX resources or new site probability. Frequency Plan Report Must contain the oficially allocated band for Telcom and utilization of band in the network for GSM and DCS. If using outband frequencies, then how many out of band frequencies are used and in what percentage. Secondly, the band split for BCCH and TCH for each of GSM and DCS band. It means how many frequencies are using in BCCH band and TCH band. Next will be the freq plan strategy used in the GSM and DCS(hopping/non hopping). If hopping is used then which type of hopping is used (SFH/BBH/DFH).
BSS Report This report must contain the following items; How many BSCs are used in the network and features of each BSC(Max Traffic/Max TRXs) Traffic and TRX Loading in each of the BSC BSC Boundaries Plot LAC/RAC Plot Paging Report for the last one month Recommendations Neighbor Planning Report Just a smart view of Neighbor planning in the network. If found inconsistencies(illogical neighbors/one way relations) then snap shot of few examples and fnally the recommendations about the current neighbor planning(needs neighbor audit or not . etc) Parameter Audit Report A small report about the basic and common parameters on; BSC Level Cell Level Adjacency Level It will be a table, having name of parameter, its current value, its default value(by vendor), and recommendations (if this value is correct or need modifications) KPIs Report It contains the average of Basic KPIs of the network for the last two weeks.
