Conclusion With ratio as 800/1 A, class PS, Rct=16 ohm connected to 7SD relay requires a minimum Vk as 872.03V , and with ratio as 400/1 A, class PS, Rct=8 ohm connected to 7SD relay requires a minimum Vk as 1005.60V. However selected Knee point voltage of CT is 30 ( Rct + 36) i.e. For 800/1A Vk = 1560V & for 400/1 Vk = 1320V. Hence selected Knee point voltage is adequate. A-2-1

Hence selected Knee point voltage is adequate.
